Nurse

Hello and welcome to the nurse’s page!

My name is Kasey Buscemi, and I am so happy to be serving as your school nurse. My role is to support the health, safety, and well-being of all students so they can thrive in the classroom and beyond.

The health office is here for both everyday needs and unexpected situations; whether it’s a scraped knee, a headache, or support with managing chronic health conditions. I also work closely with families, teachers, and staff to ensure every student has what they need to succeed at school.

As we begin this year, please remember to:

  • Keep your child’s health forms and emergency contacts up to date.
  • Notify me of any allergies, medications, or health concerns.
    • Be sure to include all health concerns when updating yearly forms, even if you’ve shared them before.
  • Remind your child about good hygiene and handwashing.
  • Keep your child home when they are sick.

Just a reminder: students may not carry medication during  school  or on the school bus. This includes over the counter medications and lozenges. All  medications require a medication form signed by both parent and physician and must be brought to the health office by an adult.

At the bottom of this page, you’ll find my email address, as well as frequently used forms such as the Medication Administration Form, Universal Health Record, and Asthma Action Plan. Please feel free to reach out anytime with questions or concerns. I’m here to help.

Warmly,
Kasey Buscemi, RN, BSN
