Letter from Dr. Meloche to Gov. Phil Murphy Regarding State Statute on Unpaid Meals Policy
Letter from Dr. Meloche to Gov. Phil Murphy Regarding State Statute on Unpaid Meals Policy

Cherry Hill Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Joseph Meloche on Friday, August 30, 2019 sent a letter to New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, imploring him to insist on legislation that removes the State-mandated language requiring the withholding of meals as part of the Unpaid Meal policies required of public school districts statewide. Dr. Meloche has spoken with our state legislators about this topic as well. We will update the community about the response(s) to the letter when we receive them. In the meantime, for the 2019-2020 school year, all children will be fed lunch, every day.
